The Business School Holds a Seminar on the Construction of a Medical Data Asset Management System for Public Hospitals
On October 22, 2024, the Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) and the Data Management Research Center (DMRC) organized a seminar on the construction of a medical data asset management system for public hospitals, which was attended by experts and scholars from Tiantan Hospital, Tongji Hospital, Peking University School of Stomatology, Beijing Hospital, Beijing Financial Holdings Group, Beijing International Big Data Trading Co., Ltd., and Beijing YouYan Information Service Consulting Co., Ltd.. Associate Professor Zhang Guangli, head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, presided over the seminar.
Professor Lin Song, dean of the Business School and director of the MBA Education Center, expressed his sincere welcome to the participants and introduced the Business School’s academic research and education training work in data capitalization. Liu Jumei, chief accountant of Tiantan Hospital, expressed heartfelt thanks to the organizers of the seminar and introduced the progress and effectiveness of Tiantan Hospital in terms of data management. The seminar focused on the information construction of public hospitals, data management systems of public hospitals, accounting for data capitalization, and confirmation of medical data assets. The participating experts put forward improvement suggestions on “Exploration of Data Asset Management System and Application Mechanism in Public Hospitals”, i.e. the key research topic of China Health Economics Association in terms of health and economic management. This seminar discussed the practical issues of data asset management of public hospitals from multiple dimensions such as public hospitals, data exchanges, colleges and universities, and data service providers, built an academic exchange platform on medical data asset management and promoted the development of the Business School in terms of industry-university- research cooperation.
